Seiðr is a living hereditary repository of a certain type of knowledge.
It serves to encourage individuals to acquire esoteric learning –
history, language, scholarship of traditional practices –
toward the goal of discovering and acquiring ancient knowledge
coupled with modern wisdom.
During this process the seeker will be changed,
causing them to become a breed apart.
Drinking from this stream transforms one into a
particular, peculiar, and esoteric being;
one who seeks insight within runes,
who is sensitive and appreciative,
who skulks scrolls and embraces culture,
self-honesty, self-control, and good bearing.
Staff Walkers walk the arête;
despising the uncouth and plebeian ways of thralls.
Their wyrdful ways will exist after their causal death.
